About us

In the coastal town of Drøbak, we swim all year round. Although there hasn't been a public sauna in Drøbak before, the town has a long history as a bathing destination. First with Larsen’s bathhouse in Badehusgata, then the men’s and women’s baths in Badeparken, and the thermal bath with both mud and silt baths.

How we bathe and sauna has changed over time. From the Middle Ages to today, sauna bathing has been a tradition in this country. The health benefits—such as improved blood circulation and reduced stress— have moved people to use saunas regularly, and new saunas are continually appearing around the country. A sauna has therefore been in high demand among the locals in Drøbak!

Our wish is to contribute to public health, community spirit, and local appeal. Our sauna is also a way to engage in urban outdoor life. Furthermore, we believe that a sauna at Lehmannsbrygga will help extend the Drøbak town center and create positive experiences for both locals and visitors all year round.

We hope to see you at the sauna!

Best regards,
Kenneth, Joakim, Sverre, and Paul!
